Podcast, stupid screen recorder

Yesterday one of my friends was kind enough to lend me there headset.  Unfortunately I didn't realise how little time I had, as I thought his mum was going to stay longer.  So I recorded a podcast, bout 20 mins.  But for some reason it didn't record my talking, apparently I pressed some button on the headset thing.  So I recorded it again, but though I would use a different screen recorder to see how the different one would go.  It put it in some random file format that I can't seem to convert because that company made it up, and I have to pay for the converter or something like that.  I'm not impressed!!!!
